The Tales of Jacques Jackson and the McNeil Antiquities Conveyance Warehouse

The folks at MAC are the middlemen in the business of shipping important
cultural and historical artifacts collected from exotic international locations,
and getting them delivered intact under tight security to their various
destinations, whether to museums or private collectors.

As hired contractors known for their expertise in the care and handling
of these ancient treasures, they have their share of adventures, and not
all of them good. Once, they had been retained to ship and temporarily
store a completely disassembled castle, stone by stone, Tower and Crypt,
from a remote Carpathian valley in Eastern Europe. By the time the
property was picked up in the morning by some mysterious black tractor-
trailers, the entire graveyard crew had disappeared without a trace.

This year a big buzz has been generated by the world tour of an especially
rare and unique collection of Egyptian treasures from the Cairo museum.
The oldest pyramid yet to be discovered was found sunken in the delta of the
Nile River. It contained an intact, airtight burial chamber, containing the largest
and oldest golden treasure, and the mummies of possibly the first Pharaoh
only referred to as “Ba” and his three wives. Ba was well preserved for an
Old Kingdom mummy, unlike his wives, who were probably embalmed
while still living, as evidence shows their bandages had been nearly ripped
entirely away.

MAC has been hired by the Egyptian authorities to receive the items, in
preparation for the first stop of the tour, just a few miles away in Chicago.

Environment Description

The MAC facilities lie just outside of Chicago, in a relatively rural setting,
beside the Minindawa River. They combine a mid 19th C. brick agricultural
warehouse, mostly converted into offices and high security vaults, and
a more modern sheet metal warehouse built in 1971, connected along side.

Jacques “Action” Jackson, aka JJ, is the shipping warehouse supervisor.
When not working closely with his lead man Adam Cutler, he can be found
playing his funky bass. When not with JJ, Adam is usually found with Carol
Vandoozer, one of the preservation specialists, and daughter of the renowned
antiqities expert Dr Karl Vandoozer.

JJ and Adam are managed by Tindeer Ramal, a rather aloof
and stern man, who among his 12 languages conveniently speaks Egyptian. He
is rarely in his warehouse office without his large guard dog Scubaru.

Until it becomes apparent that Ramal is a cultist high priest,
be prepared for attacks by:

  1. Scorpions
  2. Snakes
  3. Baboons
  4. A giant golden Lion comes to life
  5. Mummies of Ba and wives
